| Overview: |

This
position is within the Operations team of the Bakken Asset. The
successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing, scheduling,
and providing oversight for the well work operations (work over rig,
wire line operations) in the Bakken fields. Duties include ensuring
safe and environmentally responsible operations, the prioritization of
wellwork, on-site supervision, documentation and tracking.
Effective
teamwork is required by the individual as activity interfaces
information sharing includes many components of the organization.
Direct interaction and support of the engineering, production, and
completion teams will be critical to the success of the role. Due to
the operation's high activity level, the candidate must be a
self-starter who can work independently.
A demonstrated commitment to HES&S standards and policies is a must for the candidate filling this position.

| Responsibilities: |
|
-Promote
and support a culture where safety and environmental compliance is top
priority among contractors and Marathon employees. Ensure compliance
with federal, state and local regulations.
|
|
-Promote
a positive and constructive workplace. Interact with other team members
in a manner that will help build respect and achieve set goals.
|
|
-Ensure
the safe and efficient operations of contract workover rigs on both oil
and SWD wells. Drive continuous improvement in both environmental and
safety aspects of rig operations by initiating proactive programs and
policies.
|
|
-Drive
for environmental proactivity in well site work. This will include
monitoring of well site diking for SPCC control, use of appropriate
equipment to minimize environmental damage, and clean-up and reporting
of spills as required.
|
|
-Prioritize wellwork to minimize deferred production and reduce intervention costs.
|
|
-Develop
and maintain job safety analysis (JSAs) - pulling procedures, pump
handling and installation, cleanout methods and procedures, etc.
|
|
-Maintain project records and databases including daily log, well diagrams, schedules, and lessons learned.
|
|
-Constantly seek new and innovative wellwork enhancement opportunities. Once changes are identified, quickly implement them.
|
|
-Leverage peers and technical resources to develop and maintain relationships to further support the Bakken asset.

| Qualifications: |
|
Degree: Not Required; Engineering Technology Degree preferred
Computer Proficiencies: Wellview, Excel and Word
Certifications: Well Control a plus
Work Experience:
Five (5) to ten (10) years of working with service rigs as a workover
supervisor with duties including stimulation and failure analysis or
similar duties required. Production experience with artificial lift
equipment a plus.
