The Quality Control lead will oversee efforts that insure inspection requirements in reference to Engineering\Design, Procurement, Logistic, Fabrication and final start-up Commissioning activities are meet on a daily basis. Confirm work is performed in accordance with design \drawings\procedures and specifications as per all applicable codes and governing regulations.

 

 The candidate must possess keen quality related background of Oil & Gas industry required for position.

 

Individual Quality Assurance personnel will report to this Quality Control lead. In all cases the QA\QC project responsibilities will be executed in conjunction with the overall goals of the Project Core Team.

 

  • Creativity and the ability to work interdependently is essential and mandatory
  • Write and oversee the Project Quality Plans for project execution process.
  • Review, Audit, Verify, and Monitor Contractors and All Sub-contractors Company’s Inspection Testing Plans (ITP’s).
  • As Directed by Project Management Team (PMT) submit a format monthly PQAM power point presentation summary report as covering both contract management & all QA\QC field site activities to support PMT as needed for the Share Holders Committee meetings.
  • Prepare a weekly summary report document to be issued by e-mail to PMT and\or as dictated by project management with proposal forecast on next future activities.
  • Attend PMT meetings as required by PM\CM to support primary QA\QC function task and correspondence interface.
  • As needed interface with William’s Technical Services group for submittal of standardization documentation for Company E&C Asset Groups.
  • Before project completion submit to the PMT Lessons learned document as per QA\QC activities.

 

Qualification Skills Requirements

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Exceptional strong organization skills
  • 10-20 years previous experience in Quality Control in Oil and Gas industry
  • Team player able to successfully work with large projects staffing teams
  • Provide feedback of discrepancies discovered through the use of appropriate documents and records.
  • Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on multiple project simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of welding processes, NDE process and Hydro testing.
  •  
  • Education

    • Bachelor’s level Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Controls, and Quality Assurance and\or Industrial Distribution fields of study.
    • CWI, NACE II, III and\or NDE Tech II, III provide certification documentation for review process.
    • Any certification from Society of Quality Assurance (SQA) preferred
    • Formal training and certification in Quality Controls minimum requirement for position.
    • Strong technical background in reading engineering and shop fabrication drawings, PFD’s, and P&ID’s.
    • Consideration will be made for candidate with proven exceptional field site quality experience in related task functions with proven hands-on field QA|QC experience.
