Job Title: Production Foreman Department: Drilling & Production
SUMMARY The Production Foreman is responsible for the effective and economic installations, operation and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise company and contract Lease Operators
Supervise company and contract personnel conducting repair and maintenance operations
Oversee activities of contractors performing well service lease maintenance and workover operations
Recommend and implement maintenance programs
Recommend changes in production operations and confer with Production Manager on implementing changes
Code and approve all invoices for services to properties under his control
Establish and maintains good working relationships with surface owners
Oversee safety program
Supervise more complex workovers and facility installations
Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
