SUMMARY
Responsible for negotiating new or modifying existing contracts and/or related agreements for the connection of wells and the sale and/or transportation of CLR equity gas in assigned area (within guidelines received from Manager, Gas Sales). Conducts major contract & marketing area research and assists Manager in negotiations. Develops new contracts and monitors prices of equity gas sales. Monitors and evaluates natural gas marketing and transportation programs and segmentation strategies through analysis of customer and sales data; reports on patterns and trends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Responsible for the sale of natural gas at the most favorable terms and conditions
• Obtains alternate markets for the Company’s production through processing, spot sales and transportation agreements
• Independently provides a full-range of marketing responsibilities including assessing competition, end-use markets, credit checks, and evaluates and/or prepares complex and/or creative contract terms and provides after-sale customer service
• Stays abreast of industry developments through extensive contact with customers and counterparts in other companies, and through industry trade associations
• Maintains a working knowledge of laws regulating natural gas sales
