Marathon is looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Facilities Specialist to develop their career in our operation in the Cook Inlet Region of Alaska. The position is located in Kenai, Alaska.
The successful candidate will work with Marathon employees, contractor employees, and vendors to optimize construction activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Within Marathon, the position will work with the drilling, completions, production, land, regulatory, and HES teams. He/she will help coordinate construction efforts with the Production Operations group to maximize use of contractor resources, meet project schedules and maximize asset value. The candidate must be highly motivated and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills.
The candidate must be experienced in all aspects of onshore oilfield, civil and mechanical construction. Candidate must be knowledgeable of applicable codes such as API 1104, AMSE B31.3/8, and 49 CFR 192. Experience with OSHA construction standards including Fall Protection, LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, and Excavation are required. |

- Degree required: None - Computer Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project - Experience required: Minimum of 5 years experience in oilfield construction supervision preferred. - PMP Certification is a plus - AWS CWI preferred |
