Summary

The Driver/Fleet Compliance Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring all MBI Energy Services' units are properly inspected, repaired, tracked and meet all DOT regulations.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Check and send fleet status reports to management.
  • Move units when coating is needed and return units to shop when completed.
  • Move units between locations as needed.
  • Answer questions on units that are in for testing and approve small repairs.
  • Inform manager on large repairs needed and get approval to complete work.
  • Build and organize a calendar with dates to ensure all units are regularly inspected .
  • Track all inspection dates on all equipment.
  • Send inspection reports to managers and dispatch.
  • Schedule inspections on all units.
  • Make sure units get inspected on due dates and pick up units when inspections are completed.
  • Ensure units are removed from Dawg list and send status reports to proper staff.
  • Follow up with manager on a regular basis on status of any special projects and keep them updated.
  • Track all big Vac trailer inspections.

 

Required Skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Manage incoming emails and respond accordingly and as needed with professionalism.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.

Education

High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

 

Licenses and Certifications

CDL Class A license w/ Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles & Triples endorsement.
