Position Description
Job Title: Construction Foreman
Department: Operations/Drilling
Reports To: Operations/Drilling Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY
Supervises field operations associated with building and reclaiming drilling locations and roads.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises various numbers employees of contract personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
