The Production Superintendent will have responsibility for the safety, environmental and financial performance of a specific field location. It will involve the supervision and direction of a team of company employees and contractor personnel. The Production Superintendent directs contract and company personnel in capital project implementation, electrical and SCADA system management, and preventative maintenance activities. This position must assume a leadership role in driving improved safety and operational performance in both company and contract personnel. The Production Superintendent will report to the Operations Manager.

• Promote and support a culture where safety and environmental compliance is a top priority. Initiate actions that will enhance the operation's safety and environmental performance.
• Work closely with the Operations Team to maximize the value and efficiency of ongoing operations. Positively interact with both office and field personnel in a manner that creates an atmosphere of creativity, cooperation and continuous improvement.
• Effectively manages contractors to maintain competency and optimal level of resources(manpower and equipment) to meet planned progress.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement area management techniques and strategies from both a field development and operational standpoint.
• Reviews actual vs. forecast data (production, expense, capital) for their area of responsibility, and directs the efforts of the team to optimize performance.
•  Develops team into a cohesive and efficient operating group through coaching and mentoring.
• Ensures that all operations in the assigned area of responsibility are conducted in accordance with internal policies, operating agreements, surface use agreements, government regulations and conservation practices.
• Establishes, implements and monitors team's performance commitments and metrics.
• Provides 24 hour operational and emergency response coverage on an on-call rotational basis.
